William "Bill" Estep, ELIZABETHTON

William Madison “Bill” Estep, 83, Elizabethton, passed away Friday, December 9, 2011, at his residence.
A native of Carter County, he was a son of the late Henry & Bertie Scalf Estep. He was Manager of the V.F.W. Cafeteria for a number of years and was a former employee of the Bemberg Corporation. He was of the Baptist Faith. Mr. Estep served in World War II and the Korean Conflict.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife: Elizabeth Grindstaff Estep; three sisters: Hildred Peaks, Edith Estep and Lynnis Lyons; and two brothers: Hasford Estep and Warren Estep.
Survivors include a Brother & Sister-in-Law: Earl & Ann Estep, Johnson City; Several Nieces & Nephews.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 7 p.m. Monday in Memorial Funeral Chapel.
Graveside Service and Interment will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Mountain Home National Cemetery. Pallbearers and Military Honors will be provided by the American Legion and Tennessee National Guard.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Monday in the funeral home. Family and friends will assemble at the cemetery at 1:50 p.m. Tuesday.
