KINGSPORT — Bill (B.C.) Hoss, 65, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday (December 7, 2011) at his residence.
He was born in Carter County and had lived in Kingsport the past 20 years. Mr. Hoss proudly served his country in the United States Army. He enjoyed playing golf and was a friend to everyone who met him. He attended Westview Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his father, Carl Hoss.
He is survived by his mother, Carmaleta Hoss; his wife, Phyllis Hoss; beloved son, Brian Hoss and his wife, Trish; beloved daughter, Angie Hoss and her husband, Mike; step sons, David and Reagan Rogers, Jeff and Vicki Rogers, Tony and Toni Rogers; step daughter, Sissy and Andy Caldwell; sisters, Brenda Porter and Kathy Sams; beloved grandson, Nathanael; beloved granddaughter, Brianna; papaw Bill had seven step grandchildren who he loved with all of his heart, Ben, Lindsey, Emily, Morgan, Matthew, Logan and Katy, a special niece, Rachel, and other nieces and nephews; and the mother of his children and good friend, Sue Hoss.
Calling hours are from 5 to 7:00 P.M. Saturday at Johnson Funeral Home of Church Hill.
Memorial Services will be held Saturday at 7:00 P.M. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Mike Stout officiating.
Private Graveside services will be conducted at a later date. Honorary bearers will be Nathanael Hoss, Ben Caldwell, Matthew Rogers, David Rogers, Jeff Rogers, Tony Rogers, Andy Caldwell, and Paul Rogers.
The family would like to thank his special hospice caregivers, Sharon, Ben, Melody, Glenda and Chaplain Jewett.
