James W. Moulton, Jr., 82, Jonesborough, passed away Sunday, December 4, 2011, from his residence.
A native of Sullivan County, TN he was the son of the late James W. Moulton Sr. and Lillian Brown Moulton. Mr. Moulton worked for Meade Corp for 22 years and was a self-employed real estate investor. He was a member of Sulphur Springs Baptist Church. He loved good food, the mountains, traveling, and most importantly family gatherings. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter, Vicki Gibis; and sister, Carolyn Stafford.
Mr. Moulton leaves behind his loving wife, Ann Moulton, Jonesborough; children and their spouses, Marsha and J.R. Jones, Gray, Amy and Chris Carrier, Walt and Rebekah Moulton, and Leisa and Bradley Leonard, all of Jonesborough; brother and sister-in-law; Delmar and Carol Moulton, New Mexico; sister, June Sebesta, New York; grandchildren, Clayton Carrier, Laura Carrier, Cole Carrier, Gavin Leonard, Grant Leonard, Eva Leonard, Anne Marie Glaser, Stephanie Glaser, Colleen and Rich Wold, and Ryan and Jan Gibis; and great grandchildren, Brandon Gibis, Pierson Gibis, Jackson Wold, and Kaylynn Wold. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
A Celebration of Life service for Mr. James W. Moulton Jr. will be conducted on Tuesday, December 6, 2011, at 8:00 PM in the Sunrise Chapel of Tetrick Funeral Services with Reverend Buddy Jones officiating. The family will greet friends in the funeral home chapel on Tuesday from 6:00 PM till the service hour.
A Committal and Entombment service will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, December 7, 2011 in the Mausoleum at Washington County Memory Gardens. Active pallbearers are Eddie Bragg, Travis Bragg, Ron Crain, Roy Jones, Peter Stafford, Mark Snodgrass and Randy Lynn. Everyone is asked to meet the family at the funeral home on Wednesday at 10:30 AM to go in procession to the cemetery.

The family expresses a special thanks to his nurse, Melissa Acheurer and Welmont Hospice, for their compassionate, loving care of Mr. Moulton during his time of illness.
