Mary Poarch, Jonesborough

Ms. Mary Poarch, age 85, Jonesborough, passed away Saturday, December 3, 2011, at her residence.
Ms. Poarch was native of Washington County and daughter of the late Claude & Kate Hilbert Poarch. Ms. Poarch was also preceded in death by her step father and mother, Roy E. & Ida Bell Hoss; brothers, James H. Hoss, Robert Harry Hoss, Raymond B. Hoss, Bobby E. Hoss, Glen Poarch, Cecil Poarch and Jack Poarch; one sister, Dorothy Poarch Hilbert; and a special cousin, Virginia Widner.
She was a member of Johnson City Church of Jesus Christ.
Ms. Poarch was a Homemaker and loved animals.
Survivors include four brothers, Bill Hoss, Jonesborough, Guy Hoss, Baskerville, CA, George Hoss, Ferndale, MI, and C.W. Hoss, Gray; two sisters, Jewell Hoss, Jonesborough, and Ella Kate “Katie” Hoss, Jonesborough; special cousin, Ernie Widner; and several nephews and nieces.
The family would like to send special thanks to the Heavenly Sunshine Organization and the care and compassion of Wendy Riddle.
Funeral services will be conducted at 8:00 p.m. Monday, December 5, 2011, at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Monday prior to the service.
Interment services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 6, 2011, at Hilbert Cemetery. Pallbearers will be family & friends.
