James Miller, Jonesborough

Mr. James A. Miller, age 87, Jonesborough, passed away Wednesday, November 30, 2011, at the Johnson City Medical Center.
Mr. Miller was a native of Washington County and son of the late J.R. & Louise Smith Miller.
He was a member of Seviers United Methodist Church.
Mr. Miller was a Farmer and retired Truck Driver. He was an avid Fisherman.
Survivors include his wife, Emma Lamons Miller, of the home; two sons and daughters-in-law, James A. & Betty Miller and Jeffrey A. & Trina Miller, all of Jonesborough; grandchildren, Jennifer Robbins, Jeffrey A. Miller Jr., Amanda Grace Miller, Robin Littleton and Robert Miller; great-grandchildren, Drew Miller, Jeremy Littleton and Joshua Littleton; sister, Laura Hawkins, Florida; nephew, Wilson Painter and wife, Gail; and several nephews and nieces.
Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Friday, December 2, 2011, at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home with Rev. Rance Edwards officiating.
The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Friday prior to the service.
Interment services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 3, 2011, at Seviers Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Harrison Miller, Jeremy Littleton, Eddie Grayson, Randy Stanton, Cline Everhart and Mark White. Honorary pallbearers will be Brian Jessie, Jim Jessie, Bill Whitaker and Wilson Painter Jr.
