Wanda R. Tribble, Johnson City

Wanda R. Tribble, 71, 809 Harding Avenue, Johnson City passed away Sunday, November 27, 2011.
She was a native and lifelong resident of Johnson City and was a daughter of the late Claude and Retha Vines Barnett. Mrs. Tribble retired from the V.A. Medical Center as a Dietician. She was a member of the Grace Freewill Baptist Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister, Sharon Owens.
Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Wayne Tribble; two sons, Jerry W. Tribble of Elizabethton and Jay S. Tribble and his wife, Karen of Johnson City; a sister, Bobbie Barnett Black of Pennsylvania; three grandchildren, Carly Tribble, Shawn Louis and Heather Louis; a great-grandson, Lane Louis; also several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services for Mrs. Tribble will be conducted at 11:00 AM Thursday, December 1, 2011 in the Monte Vista Memorial Park with Pastor Curtis Hurt officiating. Pallbearers will be Jerry Krouse, David Lyons, Kevin Jackson, Eddie Henry, Mark Lyons and Bill Trent. Everyone attending is asked to meet at the cemetery by 10:50 AM. There will be no formal visitation.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorials be made in her name to the American Breast Cancer Foundation, 1220 B. East Joppa Road, Suite 332, Baltimore, Maryland 21286.
