Terry Dewayne Street, Johnson City

Terry Dewayne Street, age 63, of Johnson City, TN went to be with the Lord on Friday, November 25, 2011 at his home.
He was born December 17, 1947 to the late Richard Street and Jessie Childress Street and was a lifelong resident of this area.
Terry was retired from Mountain Home Medical Center in the Engineering Department. He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Bristol, VA. Terry loved working with old cars and restoring them to near perfection. He also loved music from the 50’s and 60’s and often worked as a DJ for local car shows. He also enjoyed outdoor activities such as fishing, but his true passion was tinkering with his Harley Davidson motorcycle.
Survivors: Wife: Linda Darlene Sherfey Street; Daughters: Melissa McAllister, Jessica Thorpe and husband Paul; Sons: Donnie McAllister, Bryon McAllister and wife Jessica; Special friend of the family: Doris Hall; Three Grandchildren: Allison, Brittany, Jonathan
Funeral services will be conducted at 8:00 PM on Tuesday, November 29, 2011 from the Weaver Funeral Home Chapel with his father-in-law, Dr. Charles Sherfey and Dr. Gene Lesley officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-8 prior to the funeral service. The committal service and burial will be on 11:00 AM at Powell Valley Memorial Gardens. Military honors will be provided.
