Johnathan ‘John Boy’ Hammonds, Bristol, Tenn.

BRISTOL — Johnathan Conley “John Boy” Hammonds, 24, 220 South Acres, Bristol, Tenn. passed away Tuesday, November 22, 2011 in the Vanderbilt University Hospital, Nashville.
A native of Jacksonville, Florida, he had lived in the Bristol area for a number of years. He was a Construction Worker.
He was preceded in death by his Maternal Grandparents: Nannie Margaret Lane and Hubert “Babo” Malone.
Survivors include his wife: Kimberly Collins Hammonds. Two Daughters: Jamiallia Hammonds and Alyssa Hammonds. One Son: Johnathan “Little Man” Hammonds. His Father and step-mother: Johnny & Virginia “Cricket” Hammonds, Limestone. His Mother & Step-Father: Saran & Robert “Hoggie” Malone, Bristol. Six Brothers: Anthony, Donald, Russell, Jeffery, Josh Hammonds and Christopher Adams. Four Sisters: Rebecca “Punkin” Hammonds, Brandy Hammonds, Jonnie “Sissie” Hammonds and Nikki Hammonds. His Paternal Grandparents: Gene Hammonds, Kingsport and Lois Wright of Florida. His Maternal Grandmother: Jennie Hyatt, Johnson City. His Paternal Grandparents: Gracie Oliver and Margaret “Granny” Warren. Several Nieces, Nephews, Aunts & Uncles.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 8 p.m. Saturday in Memorial Funeral Chapel. Graveside Service and Interment will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Eastern Heights Cemetery, Bristol.
Active Pallbearers who are requested to assemble at the funeral home at 1 p.m. Sunday will be: Andrew Leonard, Hack Arnett, Christopher Walker, Travis Eades, Jeffery Hammonds, Anthony Hammonds, Casey Walker and Donald Hammonds.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home. Family and friends will assemble at the funeral home at 1 p.m. Sunday to go to the cemetery.
