Tommy Webb, Kingsport

KINGSPORT — Tommy R. Webb, 80, of Kingsport, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 22, 2011, at Johnson City Medical Center, Johnson City, TN.
Mr. Webb was born on April 7, 1931, in Holly Grove, Arkansas, to the late Richard and Stella Riley Webb. He was a loving husband, devoted father, loving grandfather and dear friend.
Tommy was a truck driver and retired from Mason-Dixon after 28 years of services. He was a member of Boones Creek Bible Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Paul Anthony Webb; two brothers, Clarence Webb and Aubrey Webb; and a sister, Helen Webb.
Survivors include his loving wife of 63 years, Nita Street Webb, of the home; two daughters, Anita Norman, of Memphis, TN, Brenda K. Lawrence & husband, Tony, of Highland Village, TX; son, Richard Webb Jr., of Gray; five grandchildren, Chad, Pamela, Kurt, Travis and Anthony; three great grandchildren, Olivia, Brad, Henry, Chad; brother, Jeff Webb & wife, Dee Dee, of California; along with several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 9-10 a.m. on Saturday, November 26, 2011, at Carter-Trent Funeral Home, 520 Watauga Street, Kingsport.
Funeral Services will be at 10 a.m. in the chapel with Pastor Dale W. Cunningham and Pastor Steve Matlock officiating.
Entombment services will follow at East Lawn Memorial Park, Kingsport. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Boones Creek Bible Church, 1528 Old Gray Station Road, Johnson City, TN 37615.
