Sue Wright, Johnson City

Mrs. Sue O. Wright, 89, died Monday, November 14, 2011, at Johnson City Medical Center.
A native of Sullivan County, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Addie Gross Tester. Mrs. Wright was a former member of the League of Women Voters and a former officer for Washington County Republican Women.
She enjoyed bowling, wrote published poetry and sewed beautiful crewels.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Ralph E. “Fuzzy” Wright; three brothers; and one sister.
She is survived by two daughters, Connie Wright, of Johnson City, and Cindy Wright Hall and husband, Chuck, of Gilbertsville, KY; son Eddie Wright and wife, Vicki, of Lincolnshire, IL; four grandchildren, Chad Hall and wife, Krista, of Clarksville, Alex Hall, of Gilbertsville, KY, and Rachael and Andrew Wright, both of Lincolnshire, IL; two great grandchildren, Wade and Cassie Hall, both of Clarksville, TN; and special friend, Ron Collins, of Johnson City.
The family will receive friends Thursday, November 17, from 6-8 p.m. at Morris-Baker Funeral Home.
Services will immediately follow at 8 p.m. at Morris-Baker Funeral Home, South Chapel.
Burial will be Friday, 11 a.m., at Monte Vista Memorial Park. Rev. Rick Ballard will be officiating.
