Ada McCray, Gray

Ada Elizabeth Fitzgerald McCray, of Gray, passed away Friday afternoon, November 11, 2011, at LifeCare Center of Gray.
Mrs. McCray was a member of Marvins Chapel United Methodist Church.
She was a daughter of the late Gene and Ethel Barnes Fitzgerald. In addition to her parents, Mrs. McCray was preceded in death by her husband, James “Bill” McCray, in 2007; three sisters, Ruth Crouch, Louella Hale, and Josephine Ford; five brothers, Billy Fitzgerald, Raymond Fitzgerald, Foy Fitch, Clinton Fitzgerald and Adron Fitzgerald.
She is survived by two sons, Billy and Becky McCray, James A. and Dawn McCray, all of Gray; three daughters, Jean Crawford and Nancy Edwards, of Gray, Cathy and Sammy Jackson, of Boones Creek; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Drew McCray, Larry Crawford, Sammy Jackson, Tony Edwards, Tony Hatcher and Robert Willis. Honorary pallbearer is Terry Bacon.
The family will receive friends Sunday, November 13, 2011, from 12 noon-2 p.m. in the Gray Funeral Home Chapel and services will be held at 2 p.m. with Rev. Calvin Clower officiating.
Graveside services will be held Monday, November 14, 2011, at 1 p.m. at Tri-Cities Memory Gardens.
