Mary Glover, Hampton

HAMPTON — Mary Evelyn Glover, 73, Hampton, passed away Tuesday November 8, 2011, at her residence.
A native of Carter County, she was a daughter of the late John Henry and Bell Cochran Tolley. She was a graduate of Hampton High School. Mrs Glover was a homemaker. She was of the Free Will Baptist Faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bowman Glover, August 27, 1994; by a sister: Mildred Scalf; Four brothers: Martin, Leonard, Carroll and Bobby Tolley.
Survivors include a sister & brother-in-law: Eunice & Rev. Henry Berry, Hampton; A brother & sister-in-law: Larry & Eddy Tolley, Hampton; Several nieces & nephews; Three Sisters-in-law: Gearldine Tolley, Wanesboro, Ohio, Darlene Tolley, Hampton, and Jimmie VanHorn, Elizabethton; A special friend Delorce Sneed, “my sister.”
Funeral Services will be conducted at 7 p.m. Thursday in Memorial Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Gary Whitehead officiating.
Graveside Service and Interment will be at 11 a.m. Friday, November 11, 2011,, in the Roselawn Memorial Park with the Rev. Bernie Jones officiating. Active Pallbearers, who are requested to assemble at the cemetery at 10:50 a.m. Friday, will be: Brad Tolley, Lynn Tolley, Mark Berry, Michael Scalf, Allen Tolley and Richard Scalf.
The family would like to express a special “Thank You” to Rev. Henry Berry for all his special care.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home. Friends may also call at the residence of her brother, Larry Tolley, Hampton. Family and friends will assemble at the cemetery at 10:50 a.m. Friday.
