Beryle ‘Dude’ Kinley, Jonesborough

Mr. Beryle “Dude” Kinley, age 91, Jonesborough, passed away Tuesday, November 8, 2011, at the Johnson City Medical Center.
Mr. Kinley was a native of Washington County and the son of the late W.H. and Ella Kent Kinley. In addition to his parents, Mr. Kinley was also preceded in death by his wife, Georgia Carriger Kinley; daughter, Janice Dearstone; and brothers, Claude “Fat” Kinley, Hubert Kinley, Joe Kinley, Sam Kinley and Charles Kinley; and sister, Ruby Cox.
He was a member of Westerly Heights Baptist Church.
Mr. Kinley was a veteran of the United States Army and served in World War II as an Anti-Tank Gun Crewman. He served in France, Belgium and Germany.
He retired from Johnson City Foundry as a machinist.
Survivors include one daughter, Carolyn Hyatt, Jonesborough; one brother, Earl Kinley; one sister, Jessie Dearstone; grandchildren, Angela Dearstone, Mark Dearstone, Wayne Hyatt and April Hyatt; great grandchildren, Jacob Hankal, Jordon Hankal, Dalton “DJ” Hyatt, Izaiah Hyatt, Madison Aleman, Shiann Dearstone, Markis Dearstone and Tristain Dearstone.
Funeral services will be conducted at 8:00 p.m. Thursday, November 10, 2011, at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Bill Brown officiating.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday prior to the service.
Interment services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 11, 2011, at Fairview Cemetery. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
