ELIZABETHTON — Wanda Lou Taylor, 73, Elizabethton, passed away Friday, November 4, 2011, in the Johnson City Medical Center.
A native of Carter County, she was a daughter of the late Fred & Marilyn Jackson Roberts.
She was retired due to disability as a Certified Nursing Assistant. Her last employment was at the James H. Quillen Rehabilitation Hospital.
She was a member of the Lyons Chapel Free Will Baptist Church. She loved to read and loved to care for people.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Billy J. Taylor Sr.; a brother: Fred Roberts Jr.; and a sister: Vanda Crabtree.
Survivors include a daughter & son-in-law: Tammy & Daniel Phillips, Johnson City; Four Sons: Ricky Roberts, Billy Taylor Jr. and his wife, Mary, and Michael Taylor, all of Elizabethton, and David Taylor, Bristol; 11 Grandchildren; 3 Great Grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 4 p.m. Saturday in Memorial Funeral Chapel with Pastor Mark Street officiating. Private Inurnment will be at a later date in the Lyons Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 3 to 4 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home.
