Robert Conner, Johnson City

Robert E. Conner, 59, 2626 Mimosa Lane, Johnson City, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, November 1, 2011.
He was a native and lifelong resident of Johnson City and was a son of the late Robert Lee and Nell Kate Shoun Conner.
Mr. Conner had worked for Appalachian Christian Village as a maintenance supervisor. He attended Faith Tabernacle in Johnson City.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Jason Robert Conner.
He is survived by a sister, Elaine White and her husband, Conley, of Johnson City; two brothers, Greg Conner and his wife, Ann, of Jonesborough, and James Conner, of Johnson City; five children and six grandchildren; two nephews, Dwayne White and Charlie Conner, both of Jonesborough; a niece, Denise White, Jonesborough; an aunt, Frances Berry, of Tucson, AR; special friends, Rev. Harold Jones and Bob Clark.
The funeral service for Mr. Conner will be conducted at 4:00 PM Monday, November 7, 2011, in the Woodall-Anderson and Dugger Funeral Home with the Rev. Harold Jones officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 3:00 PM until the service time.
