Ricky Ensor, Elizabethton

ELIZABETHTON — Ricky Cecil Ensor, 50, Elizabethton, passed away Friday, October 21, 2011, at his residence.
He was a Carter County native. Ricky was a 1979 graduate of Unaka High School. He was retired due to disability. He was a former employee of North American Rayon Corporation. He was a UT Vol Fan and a NASCAR Fan.
He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Ensor; a brother, Randy Ensor; and his Paternal Grandparents: Cecil & Cora Gentry Ensor.
Ricky was a member of the Dungan Chapel Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son & daughter-in-law: Zach & Amy Ensor, Johnson City; His Mother: Frances Heck, Marietta, Wisconsin; Six Brothers: Rondal Wayne, Noah, James Robert, Daniel and Josh Ensor and David Ward, all of Elizabethton; A Sister: Linda Rutter, Elizabethton; His Uncles: Howard, Robert “Bug,” and Ernest “Pete” Ensor, all of Elizabethton, and C. Lee Ensor, Clarksville, Tenn.; His Aunts: Marie Oxendine, Ruby Corder and Linda Kay Vaughn, all of Elizabethton; Several Nieces & Nephews; His special friends: Alvina Thompson and Donna Buchanan.
Graveside Services will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. Sunday in the Ensor Cemetery with the Rev. Richard Estep officiating. Burial will follow the service. Music will be provided by Howard Ensor, piper.
Active Pallbearers who are requested to assemble at the funeral home at 2:55 p.m. Sunday, will be: Jamie Peters, Billy Espinoza, David Ensor, Namine (Pine Knot) Buckles, William Berry and Eddie Millsaps.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home. Friends may also call at the residence of Alvina Thompson, 120 Treadway Street, Elizabethton.
