Lutherene Richardson, Elizabethton

ELIZABETHTON — Lutherene Clawson Richardson, Elizabethton, born September 20, 1945, passed away Wednesday October 19, 2011, in the Johnson City Medical Center after a brief battle with cancer.
She was retired from Southeast Industries, Johnson City. She loved to read, knit and crochet.
She was preceded in death by her father, Luther Clawson.
Survivors include her mother: Mary Johnson; Four Sisters & Brothers-In-Law: Alma & James Townsend, Bernice & Tom Deloach, Shirlene & Andy White and Andre & Herman Greer; Also several nieces & nephews.
Memorial Services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Saturday in Memorial Funeral Chapel with Mr. David Siebenaler, Minister, officiating.
Interment of the cremains will follow in Happy Valley Memorial Park. Music will be provided by J.P. & Leona Mathes. Active Pallbearers will be her sisters: Alma Townsend, Bernice Deloach, Shirlene White and Andre Greer. Honorary Pallbearers will be her Nieces & Nephews.
The family would like to express a special “Thank You” to the Staff of 2500 and 4500 wings of Johnson City Medical Center and the staff of McLeod Cancer Center.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home. Friends may also call at the residence of her mother. Mary Johnson, 125 Icy Lane, Elizabethton.
It was her wish to be cremated.
