Alice Taylor, Johnson City

Mrs. Alice D. Taylor, 86, of Johnson City, Tennessee, died Wednesday, October 13, 2011.
Mrs. Taylor was a long-term Washington County resident. She was the daughter of the late Judson Stephens and Bessie Hayes Taylor. Mrs. Taylor was a former employee of Interstate Foundry.
She was a member of Princeton Presbyterian Church, where she served in numerous capacities.
Mrs. Taylor was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Lee Taylor, in 1998; and two sisters and three brothers.
Survivors include: One son, Jeffrey K. Taylor, of Great Falls, Va.; one daughter, Lisa T. Lyon, of Naperville, IL; five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 12:00-2:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 16, 2011, at Morris-Baker Funeral Home in Johnson City.
A funeral service will be held immediately thereafter with Rev. Bill Goforth officiating. Pallbearers are Edward Henley, Lanny Henley, Mark Henley, Scott Henley, David McNees and J.W. Shew, Jr.
Interment will follow at Monte Vista Burial Park.
