William ‘Bill’ Krickbaum, Rogersville

ROGERSVILLE — William J. “Bill” Krickbaum, age 70, of Rogersville, passed away peacefully at his residence, Wednesday, October 5, 2011, surrounded by his family and friends.
Bill was the owner and operator of Lyons Construction and Tri-Cities Concrete Companies for the past 40 years. He was one of the original founders and organizers of First Community Bank and served as board chairman for the past 20 years.
Mr. Krickbaum was an active member of Rogersville First United Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by parents, William Joseph Krickbaum Sr. and Lois Krickbaum Williams.
He is survived by his wife, Ravan Hawkins Krickbaum; daughter, Caryn Krickbaum, of Knoxville; son, Phil Krickbaum, of Johnson City; step-daughter, Katie Carney, of Rogersville; step-son, Alex Carney and wife, Elizabeth, of Rogersville; grandchildren, Mary Catherine Krickbaum and Ben Krickbaum, of Johnson City; step-granddaughter, Isabel Carney, of Rogersville.
Calling hours will be 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Friday, October 7, 2011, at the Rogersville First United Methodist Church, 110 Colonial Rd., Rogersville.
Funeral service will be conducted at 8:00 P.M. Friday, October 7, 2011, at Rogersville First United Methodist Church with Rev. Gerald Jones and Rev. Charles Harrison officiating.
Graveside service will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, October 8, 2011, at Zion Methodist Church Cemetery in Baileyton.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Rogersville First United Methodist Church Manna Kitchen, 110 Colonial Rd., Rogersville, TN 37857; or the Chapel Fund @ Wellmont Hawkins County Memorial Hospital, 851 Locust St., Rogersville, TN 37857.
