Irene Cloyd, Limestone

Mrs. Roxie Irene Cloyd, age 87, Limestone, passed away Wednesday, October 5, 2011, at the Four Oaks Health Care Center.
Mrs. Cloyd was a native of Washington County and daughter of the late William Max Saults & Gerdie Hammer Saults Hylton. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Cloyd was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert Wayne Cloyd; and a brother, Ray Saults.
She was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Cloyd was a Homemaker.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Gary & Connie Cloyd and Greg & Amy Cloyd, all of Limestone; grandchildren, Tracy Shipley and husband, Brandon, of Limestone, Ashley Foster, Chuckey, and David Hartman, Mosheim; great-grandson, Ivan Shipley, Limestone; two brothers, Herb Saults, Limestone, and Robert Hylton, Johnson City; and a sister, Joyce Holtsinger, Limestone.
The family would like to thank Four Oaks Nursing Home for their wonderful care and support of our mother.
Funeral services will be conducted at 8:00 p.m. Thursday, October 6, 2011, at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home with Rev. Craig Ponder officiating.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday prior to the service.
Interment services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 7, 2011, at Asbury Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Richard Broyles, Kevin Shelton, David Holley, Cecil Quinn, Tim Humphrey and Doug Fox.
