Hazel Fuller, Hampton

HAMPTON — Hazel T. Fuller, age 73, Hampton, passed away Wednesday, September 28, 2011, at Indian Path Medical Center, Kingsport, following a brief illness.
She was a native of Scunthorpe, United Kingdom, born to the late George and Ellen Thompson Featherstone and lived in Carter County since 1981.
Mrs. Fuller was formerly employed by Wal-Mart as a training coordinator.
Mrs. Fuller was of the Catholic faith and loved to cook for her family.
She was also preceded in death by a son, Gary Paul Fuller; and a sister, Marina Shucksmith.
Mrs. Fuller is survived by her husband of fifty-four years, Clyde A. Fuller, of the home; four daughters; and three sons-in-law: Stephanie and Chris Rowe, Spring Grove, IL, Carolyn Fuller, Quakertown, PA, Kathy and Jerry Oliver, Hampton, Jennifer and Wes Treadway, Johnson City, TN; one son and daughter-in-law, Jeffrey and Rosie Fuller, Elizabethton; one brother and sister-in-law, John and Julie Featherstone, Eden, NC; eleven grandchildren: Trevor Rowe, Nicholas Rowe, David Oliver, Aimee Fuller, April Smith, Stacy Fuller, Jason Fuller, Roger Killen, Taylor Treadway, Kayla Fuller and Tanner Treadway; and two great-grandchildren, Olivia Nobles and Stephen Nobles and Baby Smith to be born November 2011; and two special friends, Faye Fender and Linda Reese. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
The funeral service for Mrs. Fuller will be conducted at 8 p.m. Saturday, October 1, 2011, in the Chapel of Peace at Tetrick Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Saturday prior to the service or at the residence at any time.
The graveside service and interment will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, October 2, 2011, in Happy Valley Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be Trevor Rowe, Nicholas Rowe, Eric Rucker, Andrew Smith, Jason Fuller and Wayne Reese. Honorary pallbearers will be Wes Treadway, Ted Fender, Chris Rowe, Jerry Oliver, Roger Killen and John Featherstone. Those wishing to attend may meet the family at the funeral home Sunday at 1:15 p.m. to go in procession to the cemetery.
