Tony Nelson, Unicoi

UNICOI — Mr. Tony Nelson, age 40, of Unicoi, passed away, Thursday, September 22, 2011, at his residence.
Mr. Nelson was a native of Washington County. He is the son of Ed Nelson and Judy Hughes Blevins.
Mr. Nelson was a Pipefitter for Gene Cox Mechanical Contractors.
Survivors, other than his mother and father, include: his wife, Janice Lynn Deyton Nelson; one son, Jerry Deyton, of Unicoi; one brother, Edward Keith Nelson, of Asheville, North Carolina; one sister, Lisa Miller and her husband, Robert, of Johnson City; one grandson, Andrew Deyton, of Unicoi.
The funeral service for Mr. Tony Nelson will be conducted at 8 PM Sunday, September 25, 2011, in the Morris-Baker South Chapel. Pastor Joey Murdock will officiate.
The graveside committal service will be conducted at 10 AM Monday in the Roselawn Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. Minister, family and friends are requested to meet at the funeral home by 9:30 AM Monday to go in procession.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Sunday prior to the service.
