Lillian Hyder, Johnson City

Lillian Elizabeth Estep Hyder, 91, Johnson City, passed away Tuesday, September 6, 2011, at her residence.
A native of Toms Creek, Virginia, she was a daughter of the late James D. and Nettie McNeil Estep. She had lived in Elizabethton for a number of years before going to Johnson City in 1996. She was a homemaker. Mrs Hyder was a member of the Stoney Creek Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, James Hampton Hyder, April 12, 1989.
Survivors include her children: Linda Garner and husband, Bill, Clifford Hyder and wife, Lois, Mary Hyder and Donna Hyder; Her Grandchildren: Amy Henegar and husband, Tommy, Ronnie Wilson and wife, Brandy, William Garner and wife, Jennifer, Kathy Davis and husband, Bob; Her special sister-in-law: Ina Estep; Several great grandchildren; Several nieces & nephews; and great nieces & nephews.
Graveside Services will be conducted at 12 Noon Friday in the Grindstaff Cemetery with the Rev. Richard Estep officiating.
Active Pallbearers will be Ronnie Wilson, Tommy Henegar, Doug Hardin, Jeff Hardin, Lance Estep and Shannon Estep.
Friends may call at the funeral home anytime Thursday or Friday morning. Family and friends will assemble at the funeral home at 11:20 a.m. Friday to go to the cemetery.
