Rosa Glover, Elizabethton

ELIZABETHTON — Rosa Peal Glover, 90, Elizabethton passed away Friday August 19, 2011 in the Hill view Health Center.
A native of Carter County, she was a daughter of the late James and Bessie Taylor Hurley. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Glover was a member of the Park Street Church of God of Prophecy. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death her husband, William David Glover, September 24, 1993, by a grandson: David Edward Kyte, Three Brothers: Buck, Guy & Rudy Hurley and Two Sisters: Parlee Williams and Vergie Presnell. She was a loving mother and grandmother.
Survivors include Two Daughters: Jerline Kyte and Nyoka Jane Glover Woods and husband Bruce, all of Elizabethton. One Son & Daughter-in-Law: Raymond “Bud” & Patsy Glover, Johnson City. A Sister: Addie Blevins, Elizabethton. Four Grandchildren: Lisa Glover Monforte, Brian Dwayne Glover, Randy Kyte and Dennis Keith Kyte. Six Great Grandchildren: Hayley Elizabeth Moss, Mason Lyle Moss, Kali Brooke Glover, Kamrin Beth Glover, Jamie Baggett and Jennifer Grindstaff. A special Friend: Brenda Fisher and daughter.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday in Memorial Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Josh Baggett officiating. Interment will follow in the Garland Cemetery. Active Pallbearers will be: Andrew Young, Christopher Young, Richard Dugger, Paul Glover, Dennis Keith Kyte and Ronnie Hurley. Honorary Pallbearers: Harold Hartzog (Deceased), Danny Glover (Deceased), Sherrill Kyte and Michael Woods. The family will receive friends from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home.
