Addie Kimery, Greeneville

GREENEVILLE — Addie Moore Kimery, age 86, of Horse Creek Community, died Tuesday, August 16, 2011 at Signature Healthcare.
She was a member of Cedar Grove United Methodist Church.
She was the daughter of the late Steve and Maye Moore. She was also preceded in death by husband: Gilbert Kimery; and special friend: Clifford Bitner.
Survivors include: 5 daughters and sons-in-law: Margaret and Carl Brown of Gallatin, TN, Peggy and Chuck Smith of Maryville, Betty and Lanny Love of Chuckey, Patsy and Mike Laws of Chuckey, Barbara and Tony Rigsby of Greeneville; 2 sons and 1 daughter-in-law: Stevie Kimery of Chuckey, Charles and Leona Kimery of Elizabethton; 12 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; 2 sisters and brother-in-law: Ruth and Walter Armstrong of Chuckey, Dorothy Thompson of Greeneville; several nieces and nephews; special friend who was like a daughter: Geraldine Kimery.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 8:00 PM at Jeffers Funeral Chapel at Afton.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 Thursday at Jeffers Funeral Chapel at Afton.
A graveside service will be held Friday at 10:30 AM at Cedar Grove United Methodist Cemetery. Rev. Walter Isley, Rev. Gene Swatzell and Rev. Johnny Broyles will officiate.
Pallbearers will be Joe Armstrong, Robert Helbert, Sammy Southerland, Lee Southerland, Eddie Southerland, Ronnie Love and Lynn Kimery.
Honorary pallbearers will be Addie’s Sunday School Class and Dr. Joseph Scott.
