Eleanor Lowenstein, ELIZABETHTON

Mrs. Eleanor Warner Lowenstein, age 103, Elizabethton, went home to be with her Lord, Thursday August 11, 2011, at her residence.
A native of Bradford County, Pennsylvania, she was a daughter of the late Lewis and Millie Patton Warner. She had lived in Carter County for the past 40 years. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Lowenstein was a member of the Poplar Grove Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two sons: Clifford and Gerald Perry; two sisters; and four brothers.
Survivors include her husband: Rev. Gilbert Lowenstein; Three Daughters: Frances Carter, Troy, Pa., Gloria Briggs, Warsaw, New York, and Martha Herman and her husband, Kirby, Elizabethton; Two Sons: Carlton Perry and wife, JoAnn, Mt. Morris, New York, and Peter Simon and wife, Carol, Lakeland, Florida; 25 Grandchildren, 46 Great Grandchildren and 14 Great Great Grandchildren; Several Nieces & Nephews.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 7 p.m. Monday in Memorial Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Doug Hardin and Rev. Eric Wright officiating.
Graveside Service and Interment will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, August 16, 2011, in the Vester Grindstaff Cemetery. Active Pallbearers will be Grandsons.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday in the funeral home. Friends may also call at the residence.

Family and friends will assemble at the cemetery at 9:50 a.m. Tuesday.
