Linda Neice, Jonesborough

Mrs. Linda F. Cole Neice, age 69, Jonesborough, passed away Tuesday, August 9, 2011, at the NHC Healthcare Center of Johnson City.
Mrs. Neice was a native of Sullivan County and daughter of the late Samuel Ivan & Virgie Warren Cole. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Neice was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles R. Gregg; grandson, Ted Gregg; brothers, Bobby Jack Cole and Clarence Cole; one sister, Marie Cole Goodell; and a brother-in-law, Ed Wyrick.
She was of the Holiness faith.
Mrs. Neice was a Homemaker. She enjoyed going to the casino with her sister Sue and spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Charles “Charlie” & Dawn Gregg and Johnny D. & Amy Gregg, all of Johnson City; daughter and son-in-law, Jacqueline Gregg & Rusty Poss, Jonesborough; two brothers, James Cole and Ivan Cole; sister, Margie “Sue” Wyrick; special friend, Charles Estepp; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and several nephews and nieces.
Memorial services will be conducted from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, August 12, 2011, at Gray Freewill Baptist Church.
Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 13, 2011, at Gunnings Cemetery with Rev. Mack Presnell officiating.
