Michael Willeford, Jonesborough

Michael Joseph Willeford, Jonesborough, TN, died Sunday, July 31, 2011 at his residence.
He was born April 22, 1939, in Parsons, Kansas, the son of the late James Lee and Letah Hight Willeford. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant brother, several aunts and uncles and his three beautiful collies: Sandy, Honey, and Bandit.
Surviving are his wife, Constance Irwin Willeford; one son, Steven Michael Willeford (Lori) of Dunkirk, New York; one daughter, Kimberly Lynn McMahon (John) of Mayville, New York; two grandchildren, Jennifer Nichole McMahon and Jason William McMahon of Mayville, New York; two sisters, Judith Nibarger and Deborah Willeford, both of Parsons, Kansas; one niece, Tracy Wertz (Monty) and great nephew, Jacob Wertz and great niece Jacqeline Wertz of Altamont, Kansas. He also leaves behind his little buddy Dachshund: Max.
He was a member of Munsey Memorial United Methodist Church.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at Munsey Memorial United Methodist Church Christian Life Center at a later date with Rev. Brian Taylor and Rev. David Lovelace officiating. Music will be provided by the Journey Praise Team. The family will receive friends after the service.
