Edgar ‘Eddie’ LeSueur, Gray

Edgar “Eddie” Eugene LeSueur, 77, of Gray went to his heavenly home on Sunday, July 24, 2011 at Franklin Woods Community Hospital.
He was the son of the late Ed and Effie Holloway LeSueur.
Eddie was a photographer with the Johnson City Press for forty three years where he won several awards, and loved sharing his stories and his life in pictures. He was a member of the Associated Press. He enjoyed writing articles for the paper even after his retirement. Eddie was also owner of the Cargille-LeSueur Studio providing photography for several weddings and other memorable occasions. He proudly served his country in the US Army. He was a member of Liberty Church and also attended Boones Creek Christian Church when his health would permit.
Eddie is survived by his wife, Charlotte Emogene Utsman LeSueur; daughter, Tammy Burns and husband Ron; son, Eddie LeSueur, II, and wife Brenda; grandchildren, Riley Burns, and Charlotte Burns; brother, Bob LeSueur, and mother-in-law, Lottie Utsman. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
A Celebration of Life service for Edgar “Eddie” Eugene LeSueur will be conducted on Tuesday, July 26, 2011, at 7:00 PM in the Sunrise Chapel of Tetrick Funeral Services with Pastor Dick Morris and Pastor David Clark officiating. The family will greet friends from 4:00 PM till the service hour at the funeral home.
A Graveside and Committal Service will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, July 27, 2011 in Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery no later than 1:50 PM on Wednesday. Pallbearers will be Eddie LeSueur, II, Bob Satterfield, John Ruetz, David Hammonds, Johnny Utsman, Billy Utsman, Norman Utsman, and Keith Morley. Honorary pallbearers are David Gouge, Barry Redman, Allen Campbell, Frank Eads, Tony Miller, Joe Reid, Fred Feathers, Bobby Watlington, and Bob LeSueur.
In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be made to one of the following charities: Green and Washington county tornado relief at United Way of Washington County PO Box 4039 Johnson City, TN 37602, the Holston Home for Children PO Box 188 Greenville, TN 37744, or to a charity of your choice.
