Belinda Owens, Johnson City

Belinda Mae Owens, 60, of Johnson City, passed away Thursday, July 21, 2011, in the Johnson City Medical Center.
She was a native and lifelong resident of Johnson City. Mrs. Owens had worked several years for the Dawn of Hope in Johnson City.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Ossie Crumb.
Survivors include her mother, Frances Crumb Brown, of Johnson City; her father, Craig Boring and his wife, Pauline, of Jonesborough; two daughters, Melissa Owens and Marsha Ellis and her husband, James, all of Johnson City; two brothers, John W. Boring and his wife, Harriett, and Eric Boring and his wife, Rose, all of Johnson City; three grandsons, Justin Owens and his wife, Rachel, Ryan Owens and Austin Ellis; a granddaughter, Heather Ellis; two great-grandchildren, Aveonia and Andre Owens, all of Johnson City; a special friend, Eddie Owens, Johnson City.
A Celebration of Life service will be conducted at 2:30 PM Sunday, July 24, 2011, in the Woodall-Anderson and Dugger Funeral Home with Pastor Terry Jones officiating. Music will be provided by Queenie Wheeler.
Internment will follow in the Monte Vista Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 1:00 PM until service time.
