Ruby Williams, Johnson City

Ruby Cofer Williams, 69, of Johnson City, passed away on Friday, July 15, 2011, in Kingsport.
She was a native of Johnson City and a daughter of the late William Joseph Cofer and Lorena Cofer Johnson. She was also preceded in death by two sons, Scott and Greg Williams; and one daughter, Pamela Williams.
Mrs. Williams was a member of McKinley Memorial Bible Church and worked for Tennessee Eastman for many years.
Survivors include three sons, Joe Williams, of Limestone, Steve Williams, of Jonesborough, and Larry Williams, of Jonesborough; two daughters, Susie Williams-Ali, of Johnson City, and Debbie Williams, of Jonesborough; one brother, J.W. Cofer, of Greensboro, NC; one sister, Linda Pittman, of Johnson City; nine Grandchildren.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11:30 am Tuesday from Washington County Memory Gardens with Lenny Smith, Pastor, officiating. Pallbearers will be Joe Williams, Steve Williams, Larry Williams, Bradley Williams, Jared Williams, Alex Williams, Jeff Williams and Joey Ali.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10 until 11:00 am on Tuesday.
The family requests memorial contributions be made to McKinley Memorial Bible Church.
