Gordon Heaton, Elizabethton

ELIZABETHTON — Gordon Clay Heaton, 36, Elizabethton, passed away Thursday July 14, 2011, at his residence.
A native of El Paso, Texas, he had lived in Elizabethton since 1976. He was a 1992 graduate of Hampton High School.
A truly special man that will always be loved, cherished, adored and missed by those that loved him. He will remain in our hearts forever and always. Gordon loved cars, collecting items and listening to music.
Survivors include his wife: Sabrina Walsh Heaton; His Parents: Gerald Heaton, Elizabethton, & Monica Heaton, Elizabethton; a special brother and best friend: Gerald “Clue Ball” Heaton Jr., Bristol; His Maternal Grandmother: Christina Sperling, of Germany; Three Nieces: Kayla Lyons, Chloe Lyons and Laura Elijah; His Mother-in-law: Mary F. Walsh, Elizabethton; His dog, Cash Bonham.
A Memorial Service will be conducted at 8 p.m. Monday in Memorial Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Mark Potter officiating.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Monday in the funeral home.
It was his wish to be cremated.
