Norma Durham, Rogersville

ROGERSVILLE — Norma Durham, age 73, of Rogersville, passed away Thursday (7-14-11) at Wellmont Hawkins County Memorial Hospital.
She was a member of Persia Baptist Church and was a member of the Order of Eastern Star in Butler, TN. She was retired from the Hawkins County School System and a member of the Retired Teachers Association.
She is preceded in death by her parents, L.D. and Blanche Dugger; father and mother-in-law, William and Elsie Durham; brother-in-law, Howard Courtner.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Bill Durham, of the home; son, Eric Durham, of Rogersville; sisters, Martha Courtner, of Johnson City, Betty Renfro and husband, Dr. C.A., of Kingsport; brother, Edwin Dugger and wife, Randa, of Johnson City.
A Special thank you to Dr. Darrell Pierce and all the staff of the oncology departments in Kingsport and Norton for their kindness and caring during her illness for the past nine years.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. Saturday (7-16-11) at Christian-Sells Funeral Home or anytime at the residence.
Funeral services will follow at 8:00 p.m. with Rev. Scott Price and Dr. John McPheron officiating.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday (7-17-11) at McKinney Cemetery.
