Julia Trifiletti, Johnson City

Julia E. Trifiletti, 93, passed away Sunday, July 10, 2011, at the Christian Care Center, Johnson City.
A native of Carmody Hills, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Margaret Grant Halfpap. Mrs. Trifiletti retired from the United States Treasury Department as a purchasing agent. She loved to travel and was a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church, Johnson City.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Angelo Trifiletti; four brothers; and three sisters.
Survivors include her son, Charles Trifiletti, Johnson City; and sister, Ethel Grant, Charlottesville, VA. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
A Funeral Ceremony for Julia E. Trifiletti will be conducted at 12:00 PM Friday, July 15, 2011, in the Sunrise Chapel of Tetrick Funeral Services, Johnson City, with Reverend Sharon Amstutz officiating.
The family will greet friends in the funeral home chapel from 11:00 AM till the service hour on Friday.
A committal service will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, July 15, 2011, at Mountain Home National Cemetery. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends.
The family would like to send special thanks to Reverend Sharon Amstutz, the members of Covenant Presbyterian, and the staff of the Christian Care Center for all the care and support given to Julia and the family.
