Ina Brown, Jonesborough

Mrs. Ina M. Brown, age 94, Jonesborough, went to be with the Lord and Savior on Sunday, July 10, 2011, at the Lakebridge Health Care Center.
Mrs. Brown was a native of Greene County and daughter of the late Andy & Vergie Bible Dawson. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Brown was also preceded in death by her husband, Hugh D. Brown Sr., in 1997; and three sisters, Iva Lee Patton, Reba Dawson and Ada Ruth Greer.
She was a member of First Baptist Church of Jonesborough and the Dorcas Sunday School Class. She was also a 50 year member of the Order of Eastern Star.
Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Betty Cupp & Jay Ferguson, Jonesborough; two step-daughters, Clarice Brown, Colonial Heights, and Ann Brown, Johnson City; grandchildren, Michele Ferguson Walsh (Bill), Jonesborough, and Ernie Ferguson, all of Jonesborough; great-grandchildren, Spencer Walsh and Caroline Walsh; and many special friends.
The family would like to send special thanks to the Staff at Lakebidge Health Care Center.
Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Friday, July 15, 2011, at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home with Rev. Joel Cook and Rev. Sam Dean officiating.
The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Friday prior to the service.
Interment services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 16, 2011, at Roselawn Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will be Richard Trent, Nathan Trent, Carl Bennett, Roy Foster, Gary Baines and Freddie Chase.
