Timmy Collins, Elizabethton

ELIZABETHTON — Timmy Alan “Bodie” Collins, 40, Elizabethton, passed away Sunday, July 10, 2011, at his residence.
He was a Carter County native. Tim was a 1989 graduate of Unaka High School. He was a truck driver and construction worker. He was of the Free Will Baptist Faith. Tim was a former member of the Carter County Rescue Squad and the Stoney Creek Volunteer Fire Department. He loved to hunt and fish.
Survivors include four daughters: Ashley Brooke Collins, Lauren Taylor Collins, Brooklyn Sue Collins and Randi Faith Collins, all of Elizabethton; His Parents: Billy Jack and Glenda Shepherd Collins, Elizabethton; A Sister & brother-in-law: Toni Renee and John Lash, Elizabethton; A brother & sister-in-law: Bill Jack Collins II and Stephany, Erwin, Tn.; Several nieces & nephews.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date. It was his wish to be cremated.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Stoney Creek Volunteer Fire Department or the American Cancer Society, ℅ Lou Cooter, 415 Washington Avenue, Elizabethton, Tenn. 37643.
