Terry Lou Green, Piney Flats

PINEY FLATS — Terry Lou McKinney Green, 46 2055 Devault Bridge Road, Piney Flats, passed away unexpectedly Monday, July 4, 2011, at the residence of her older sister. Her Heavenly Father took her home to his garden of flowers.
Terry was born November 30, 1964, at the old Johnson City Memorial Hospital. She was employed as a floral designer and owned her own business, Terry’s Tulip’s, for many years. She had also worked as a waitress.
Terry graduated from David Crockett High School, Jonesborough TN, where she was the Homecoming Queen her senior year. She also attended Halls High School in Knoxville.
Terry loved life; she was a very kind person to her family and friends. She also loved flowers, dogs and birds.
She was preceded in death by her father, Richard McKinney; and grandparents from both sides.
She is survived by her mother, Lucille McKinney Jonesbourgh, TN; Her husband, Michael Green; one son, Nicklous Green, 17, of Piney Flats; a brother, Mark McKinney and wife, Jenny; a niece, Julie McKinney, Myrtle Beach, SC; an older sister, Karen McKinney, Jonesborough; her twin sister, Sherry Yarbrough and husband, Ken; a niece, Jessica Yarbrough; a nephew, Tyler Yarbrough; step-niece, Tara Jones; stepsons, Michael and Brandon Green; an adopted sister, Frenda Gentry. She also has several brother and sisters-in-law, grandkids and several aunts, cousins and one uncle that survives.
The funeral service for Terry Lou McKinney Green will be conducted at 1:30 P.M. Friday, July 8, 2011, in the chapel of Woodall-Anderson and Dugger Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Barr officiating.
The family will receive friends Friday, July 8, from 12:00 until 1:30 PM and other times at 210 Cherry Grove Road, Jonesborough, and 2055 Devault Bridge Road, Lot #15, Piney Flats.
The graveside service and interment will follow the funeral service in Keplinger Cemetery, Jonesborough.
