Staff Report • May 8, 2014 at 10:00 AM

Johnson City police arrested a city woman Wednesday night on identity theft and drug fraud charges.

The arrest stems from an incident in early January when Amanda Holder, 31, 502 S. Barton St., allegedly used someone else's identity to get treatment at the Johnson City Medical Center emergency room. The victim later received a bill for $1,100 for treatment she did not receive.

According to police Holder also tried to obtain narcotics during the incident.

Police located Holder in Johnson City on Wednesday and charged her with the offenses. She was being held in the Washington County Detention Center on $20,000 bond.
