On March 27, deputies arrested Victoria Rose Coffey, 24, 2203 McKinley Road, after they said she admitted to kissing and offering marijuana to a 15-year-old boy.
In the affidavit of complaint, WCSO Investigator Jared Taylor said the teen's mother filed a report with the sheriff's office on suspicion that Coffey and her son were involved in a relationship.
Fifteen days after the mother filed the report, Taylor interviewed the teenager, who said he and Coffey had been in a relationship since November of 2013. The affidavit said the teen told Taylor that, in January, Coffey grabbed his crotch over his clothes while the two were kissing in her car. The teen told Taylor that he moved her hand away, and that she never grabbed him there again.
Taylor said the teenager then told him that, in February, Coffey gave him what was described as "a small amount" of marijuana and propositioned him for sex. The teen took the marijuana, but turned it into police when the initial report was filed.
On March 24, Taylor interviewed Coffey in the WCSO office. During that interview, Taylor said, Coffey admitted to kissing the teenager and giving him the marijuana.
Coffey was arrested and charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor, sexual battery, and solicitation of a minor. She was arraigned on Monday in Sessions Court, where she will return to face her charges on the afternoon of May 12.
