On Friday, police arrested Derek Jordan Keys, 23, 132 Jimmy Keys Road, on suspicion that he burglarized a truck in Johnson City.

The burglary is alleged to have taken place on Jan. 16 at 135 Lynn Road, Apt. 2. At that time, police spoke with a man who claimed his work truck had been burglarized, and that about $1,100 worth of property had been stolen from it. The investigation led police to Keys, who was charged with auto burglary and theft of property over $1,000.
