Police say they’ve charged a Bristol man with several offenses following a traffic stop Friday.

A Johnson City Police Department news release said Keenan A. Shepard, 21, 321 Lynwood St., was arrested after the JCPD’s Special Investigation Squad along with the Washington County Sheriff’s Office K9 unit aided in pulling him over on Highland Avenue at around 9 p.m.

Shepard was found to be in possession of marijuana and was charged with possession of a schedule VI drug, criminal impersonation, second-offense driving on a suspended license and violation of the financial responsibility law.

He was brought to the Washington County Detention Center, where he was held on $12,000 bond, and has an arraignment hearing set for 9 a.m. Tuesday in Sessions Court.
