Jeremy L. Carreon, 19, 125 Country Village Drive, Limestone, was questioned about the December burglary while jailed on an aggravated burglary charge after a Feb. 2 home invasion incident at 312 Kyker Road, Telford.
Deputies arrived at the home at 5:38 a.m., where the victims said they had awakened and found a white man in a dark hoodie in their house. A K9 unit was called to the home and tracked a scent back to Kyker Road.
A short time later, the victims told deputies they found a billfold containing identification and a jacket that did not belong at their residence. Based on the evidence found at the home, a photo lineup was conducted and the victims positively identified Carreon as the person in the home.
Numerous firearms were stolen in the December incident, Graybeal said. Investigators have recovered a majority of the property taken.
Another man, Walker James Brown, 19, 248 Washington College Station Road, Limestone, also was charged in the December burglary.
According to Graybeal, Carreon and Brown gave statements detailing their part of the burglary.
They are each charged with aggravated burglary and theft over $1,000.
Carreon and Brown are each being held on $30,000 bond. They will have a court hearing in the case next week.
