ELIZABETHTON — A Carter County woman who appeared in Sessions Court on Tuesday on a charge of promotion of methamphetamine manufacturing is now facing 13 additional charges after she was arrested on a grand jury indictment.

Jennifer Elaine Glover, 41, 339 Fork Mountain Road, appeared before Sessions Court Judge John Walton on one charge of promotion of methampehtamine manufacturing. She was bound over to a grand jury on that charge.

Deputy Mark McClain of the Carter County Sheriff's Department arrested Glover on the charges handed down by a Nov. 8, 2013 grand jury. The 13 charges stem from Glover's alleged purchase of cold medicine containing psuedoephedrine, a key ingredient in the manufacture of methamphetamine.

Glover is scheduled to answer the charges during the next session of Criminal Court.
