Police find Nashville man with myriad of drugs at apartment complex in Johnson City

Citizen complaints reportedly resulted in the arrest of a Nashville man Thursday at an apartment complex in Johnson City.

According to reports, police arrested Joseph J. Moore, 25, of Nashville, following several citizen complaints of illegal drug activity at Montrose Court Apartments on West Locust Street in Johnson City.

During their investigation, officers found Moore in possession of what they believe is LSD as well as heroin, psychedelic mushrooms, marijuana and various pills.

Moore was charged with three counts of Schedule I narcotics, felony possession of Schedule I and Schedule VI for resale, simple possession of Schedule II narcotics, two counts of simple possession of Schedule III narcotics, two counts of simple possession of Schedule IV narcotics, possession of drug paraphernalia and violation of a drug-free school zone.

The apartment complex is located near South Side Elementary School.

Moore was being held in the Washington County Detention Center on $93,000 bond. He is scheduled for arraignment Friday morning in Sessions Court.
