MOUNTAIN CITY — Two people have been charged with child neglect after Johnson County Sheriff's Office investigators found methamphetamine components at their Harbin Hill Road residence, Sheriff Mike Reece said Friday.
Karrie Kilby, 34, and Bobby Joe Wallace, 41, were each charged with aggravated child neglect, initiation of the process intended to result in the manufacture of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Reece said investigators went to the residence for a "knock and talk" and found components that led to the arrests.
Both were jailed in the Johnson County Jail on $51,500 each. Preliminary hearings were set for March 12.
