A Johnson City man faces charges after he was pulled over Thursday night in a stolen vehicle.

According to reports, an officer stopped Tommy D. Osborne, 40, 2701 S. Roan St., No. 69, shortly after 10 p.m. Thursday because the vehicle he was driving did not have working tail lights.

During the traffic stop at the intersection of Spring and Tipton streets, police discovered Osborne's license was revoked due to a previous charge of driving under the influence.

Authorities also discovered that the vehicle he was driving had been taken without permission from its rightful owner.

Osborne was charged with motor vehicle theft and driving on a revoked license. Hew was being held in the Washington County Detention Center on $11,000 bond.
