A gunman's bandana fell from his face during a home invasion, allowing his victim to recognize him and eventually resulting in his arrest, Johnson City police said Thursday.
Daniel Wayne Tester, 19, 131 Taylor Road, was one of two people who committed the robbery in the early morning hours of Nov. 14, police said.
About 12:45 a.m., the victim was working in his yard when he was approached by two people wearing bandanas over their faces and carrying guns. The pair forced the man into his residence and took his money.
During the robbery, Tester's bandana fell from his face, and the victim recognized him.
Johnson City Police Department investigators found Tester on Thursday and arrested him. He was charged with aggravated robbery and jailed in the Washington County Detention Center on $50,000 bond. A Sessions Court appearance was set for Friday.
