Man arrested on warrant after panhandling call

An investigation into a subject’s panhandling Friday evening led to an arrest on a warrant on charges of aggravated domestic assault and theft from a building, Johnson City police said in a news release.
Police checked out a report of someone panhandling at 1805 W. State of Franklin Road and made contact with Joseph L. Glover, 26, 1500 Bell Ridge Road, Apt. 18. Police discovered the warrant for Glover’s arrest for charges picked up Nov. 18.
He was taken to the Washington County Detention Center, where he was held on $51,000 bond. Arraignment is set for today at 9 a.m. in Sessions Court.
