ELIZABETHTON — A local man was arrested Monday on methamphetamine charges stemming from a Nov. 8 grand jury indictment.

Christopher Neal Dove, 28, 1339 Dry Creek Road, was arrested at the Moccasin Bend Mental Health facility in Chattanooga by Carter County Deputy Savatore Caccamo on 12 counts of promotion of methamphetamine manufacture and three counts of attempted promotion of methamphetamine manufacture.

Caccamo transported Dove back to the Carter County Detention Center. Judge Robert Cupp set Dove’s bond at $69,000.

Dove is accused of purchasing cold medicine containing psuedoephedrine at area drug stores on 12 occasions between March 13 and Sept. 30, and attempting to purchase the cold medicine on three other occasions during that time.
