Open vodka bottles and various drugs were reportedly found by police in a Johnson City man’s Mustang late Tuesday night.
Johnson City police stopped Jeffrey Dalton, 49, 313 Hamilton St., around 10:30 p.m. Tuesday and noticed him try to hide a glass pipe by throwing it on the floorboard, according to police.
A search of the car yielded “multiple ounces of marijuana, small amounts of crack cocaine and open vodka bottles,” police said.
Dalton was charged with his fifth DUI offense and also for felony possession of schedule VI drugs with intent to resell.
He was being held at the Washington County Detention Center without bond.
His hearing was scheduled for this afternoon in Sessions Court.
